HISTORY
Originally built by Lewando’s French Dyers and Cleaners, the complex included four separate buildings known as the River House, the Galen House, the Pleasant House and the Courtyard House. Eventually these four buildings were merged together to form the u-shaped structure that still exists today. Lewando’s was a household name in Greater Boston for many years and were the original owners of many of the buildings in the Watertown Square area. The buildings underwent a major renovation in 1987 in order to turn them into the modern office complex that exists today.
